  i-tape automatically keeps two copies of your data in an encrypted state. One is held locally, to enable LAN speed restores, and the other is held in a ultra high security datacentre for your disaster recovery purposes. Because of the way i-tape encrypts and stores you data, you can become Compliant with current legislation

  i-tape is completely disc based and does not use tape media at all.
  
  This means that is can operate completely without human intervention. Obviously, you might want to check the emails it sends you regading the backups it is doing, but apart from that, it just ‘gets on with it’.
  
  During the night, your data is encrypted and sent over your existing broadband line (while no one else is using it) to our ultra high security BS7799 datacentre which is manned by both security and technical staff 24*7*365.
• Restores are very fast, always accessible with inbuilt Bare Metal Restore
  i-tape makes restores happen very quickly.

  Our datacentre is manned by security 24*7*365 and have multiple physical and electronic layers of security. In terms of your data, i-tape encrypts all data stored with 256bit encryption - banks only use 128 bit for credit cards.

  Because it doesn’t use tape and keeps the backup in two diffwerent places it is 100% reliable. You can test restores as often as you like at no charge.
• Simple usage charging with no software licenses or additional costs
  With i-tape you simply pay for how much data you want to store. You can back up one machine or a hundred - it makes no difference to the charge (agents are charged seperately).
• i-tape uses the existing broadband connection overnight
  There is no expensive leased line to buy. Overnight, i-tape uses your existing broadband connection while it is not being used for anything else. For your local storage, you simply use another PC or an extra, low cost hard disc.
• Capacities from 5GB to 120GB (compressed)
  i-tape starts at 5GB (1GB for Sage protect) and rises to 120GB.
  If you have more data than this, we can accommodate you with DataLifeline office or Enterprise - which can take you up to 20TB.
